Swingin' Ryan
His new tune is brilliant, and there's two more been played on the radio that I haven't heard yet, one of which is a cover of Jacques Brel's 'To See a Friend in Tears'. Apparently they're recording demo's of new Manics stuff aswell, one of which features the title "I'm just a Patsy".In related news, Nicky Wire's doing a solo acoustic set in the Film 4 cinema bit at the Guardian Hay Festival this year, which I'd imagine has to be seen to be believed. Larsen B
Lifeblood was good, and lay off Bradders. I've met him before and the camera certainly does add ten pounds.

I'd have never have guessed 12years ago, watching the Manics on "The Holy Bible" tour, that they'd turn from an essential, life affirming band that mattered into the bland AOR lazy excuse for a band they are now.
