checked it out. was a boston technote 5-string. 109quid. bridge wasnt in place so couldnt hear it. have no idea if it good value or not - ie for almost beginner to play, but we will be using it for gigs. tried to find out about it on web, no joy.

anyone know if this banjo crap or no?

IT would be good for learning the ropes on, the output quality is quite good through a mini amp

I have a banjo at home doing nothing but gathering dust. Never got to grips with it. I bought it for 50 a few years ago, and would gladly part with it for the same amount. I'll even give it a dust! PM me if you're interested. I don't know details about make etc, but can find out when I get home.
