Alexandra
Have you spilt something on it? I used to have that problem, but that was after someone spilt vodka on my laptop.I think you have to go get it fixed, but I don't know much about computers. If you haven't spilt something maybe there's a programme/virus on your computer that is causing this to happen?

Guest bluesxman
How do you rate it's performance as OK until you press a key? Surely a laptop sitting not being touched can't really be fine??? ?(
Scootray
How do you know it's virus free if you can't touch a button without it freezing? I'm confused.
sludge
well the mouse still works - so i can gain access to music, porn and pictures which keeps me happy for all of half an hour.Of coarse that is untill i press a key then it freezes.Im just not sure if a lock went on accidently or the settings mixed up when shutting down or something.Im just looking for folk that has had the same problem before i smash it off a wall and get a new one. sludge
I bought it from pc world a year ago.My warranty has ran out but im insured but they still wont take it.I took it down but they said its against policy to get it handed over - they need to send someone to my house to pick it up.Which i presume is to charge a call out charge.Im not the brightest when it comes to computers so ill reserve my judgment for now.But at this present time..they can lick the sand right out of my vaginatwice. Scootray
If they don't take it, get angry at them. Tell them you couldn't give two shits about their policy, the fact is, the computer will still end up with them whether you hand it to them or they pick it up.Ask to speak to the manager and explain that if they are to pick it up, then you're not paying a fee as you have already offered to hand it over to them. The bastards. -matthEw-
you could buy a cheap external keyboard and plug that in and see if it works. i wasnt having the same problem but i had spilt beer on my laptop and the keyboard wouldnt work at all, but this sorted it. Then I got a new laptop, so I can just use the keyboard on here, although, adam did spill vodka+blackcurrant+lemonade on the keyboard.. but it's still working.o_O
