Metarie
Gender is fluid and changable, sex (as in male or female) is not. We become engendered through out our lives, falling into stereotypes and conforming to society's perceptions whether we want to or not. It's basically unavoidble.God. I think that's all I've learned during 2 years of studying Anthropology and 10 weeks of a Gender and Writing class. University is a waste of my time. Scootray
I did this in 6th year at school. And Gender isn't natural, it's how a person is brought up that defines gender. Sex like Singingstarfish noted is natural. Sex is our physical characteristics which define us as being male or female. Gender is a perception by society, and by those who flaunt it.
