KILL YOUR TIMID NOTION

DUNDEE CONTEMPORARY ARTS, UK, 17-19 FEBRUARY

The Wire is once again sponsoring this Scottish festival that combines

experimental music, film and visual art in a mind-expanding programme of

screenings, performances and happenings. Participants this year include Tony

Conrad with Nikos Veliotis, Mark Wastell and Angharad Davies; Christian

Marclay's SCREEN PLAY performed by a trio of Steve Beresford, John Butcher and

Paul Lovens; Bruce McClure and Hototogisu; Luis Recoder, Sandra Gibson and

Daniel Menche; Kazuo Imai and Atsuhiro Ito; and more. The film programme

includes screenings of works by Abigail Child, Peter Kubelka, Jud Yalkut, Guy

Sherwin, Standish Lawder, Barry Spinello, Thomas Koner, Takahiko Iimura, Strom

De Hirsch, Hy Hirch, Ken Jacobs, Tony Conrad and Paul Sharits. Plus exhibitions,

workshops, talks.
