Floor Tom Posted December 21, 2005 Report Share Posted December 21, 2005 I just came across this on another forum that I am a regular member of:http://www.pipelinecard.orgIt's basically a concept that's in a similar vein to the way companies get dicounts on fuel through petrol cards, but for the general public - apparently if they get enough people to join, then there is an agreement in principle with a retailer to offer a discount on petrol of between 5 and 10p per litre of petrol, which isn't to be sniffed at. I know it sounds a bit suspect, but it has been featured in the press, and it's free, so I can't see an angle, if there is one there...Of course, if it does turn out to be a great big filthy scam, then I take no responsibility, but I've signed up to it at any rate.
