Guest Firefly
Not being funny, but get in touch with grampian police and se if they're selling any at the moment. That'd be where i'd start, they usually sell them for quite cheap 'cause its not like they need the money really.

ChameleonSimon
There are usually a couple of these to be found on www.autotrader.co.uk - go to the van section and search on 'police'. There's a dealer in Glasgow who specialises in these, can't remember his name, but he deals through auto trader and mainly sells them to bands. Also worth seacrhing for post office / royal mail vans, which have 6 / 7 seats at front and a secure bulkhead at rear. Similarly, you'll find these on autotrader. Hope that helps.Simon
Guest b-bert
i may be wrong on this but i would imagine the police would remove the lockable cells before selling. Contacting them directly would be your best bet i think. Not local But - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LDV-Police-Convoy-TD-Ex-Riot-Van-60k-miles_W0QQitemZ4594625584QQcategoryZ108851QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
GraemeC
good shout...i'd not thought of going directly to them!I believe you'll find that they all go to auction, not locally, and they get very good money due to being 2-3yrs old and very well maintained. Teabags
If I'm not mistaken, DIngo from Boxed-In used to have one of those like the one on E-Bay. Problem was, during the xKNIFEDx/Boxed-In tour, the back got so weighted down with the full backline, merch and all seats filled that they got pulled over by police a couple of times and, well, luckily got away without a fine but some of the people had to get out and take the train to some of the gigs.
