Hog
http://www.picturethis-home.biz/html/../assets/applets/Track_1_01.wmaYeah, maybe needs a couple of things done i.e. reverb on the clean vox and the chorus removed from the guitar. I know these things. But, please give constructive criticism on this tune. We have reworked it a bit.
SleevesMcginty
Ditch the cookie monster vox and you have a crackin' tune there....really like it

Guest MKII
I like the way it comes out of the distant phasey sound in to the heavy riff! The vocals do need working on, not the performances, just the mix...in respect to the difference in volumes bewteen them, the sung chorus vocals are very quiet in comparison to the 'other ones'. infact I'd say the verse vocals were too loud for the track. I dont like that style of vocals, the grunting, but being objective, it would benefit 'the song' if they were left out at the section which begins round about 2 mins in. It needs a Hog solo over that part!!! I think its a good track, this from someone who aint a fan of this stuff.
Hog
Thanks for all your comments, its much appreciated.Yeah Tony does rrrrrraaaaaaaar vocals. We are a raaar band, I like it although Death Metal vox might not really be everyones thing.MKII thanks man, yep Hog solos are coming soon Im sure. Although (and this is ironic for a death metal band with a hint of melody) I dont want to just do a wank fest, the solos will hopefully have some feel to them if we do some tunes with solos. Thanks for listening. [/quote']Yeah not a fan of that style of vocals, as people like myself always like to point out whenever a tune featuring them is open for comments. I think they work in this track though, just too loud compared to the other stuff going on... a bit of blending and all will be fine. All your solo's should have a flute playing in unison... What a great gimmick, flute in a death metal band!!!
Hog
MKII you never know!!!!! Our bassist like Gregorian chant music, I like ambient and weird classical stuff, never say never. Death metal flutecore

Guest Neubeatz
The raar vox is a fraction too high in the mix, the melodic vox maybe is a fraction too low, just a little tweekee...
HateEvent
Tony's vocals are ace! I like death style vocals! I think this song is ace, when the guitar sound is sorted out then I think it will become really awesome!
Guest Page 99
Although this style of metal is not my thing at all, the mix is definatly holding the track back with regards of sound and intensity. The harsh vocals are cool enough though, very old school death metal. The melodic ones are pretty much not needed in my eyes, but I'm pretty picky about singing voices. All in all I think this needs a lot more variation to make it interesting, and give it a bit more of an impact.

empty-words
I like it, Tonys vocals are a wee touch to high, i prefered the 'soft' vocals in the older one better. I have shitty spekers on my pc so its kinda hard to judge. The whole song sounds thicker and just overall better. Will be cool to hear the final verson. I like tho. Paul G
The chuggy bit in the middle with the fast drums sounds like someone else has recorded over part of your song. The melodic riff sounds fine, but on it's own it leads to a pretty boring tune. Maybe a bit of reverb on tony's vox?
The Sloth
This version sounds awesome! The intro is cool, the guitars sound nice and thick. I think that the 'clean' vocal part sounds much better too. Tony's vocals are awesome. Where did you record?
Hog
Cheers Sloth. Drums and bass at Captain Toms, vocals and guitars at Compuphonics home set up (he is a member of this forum). Hes a cool guy and is looking for other music projects to get his teeth into.
