The Ghost Of Fudge
there is talk of this being a 'seats-out' gig... toxic ephex are expected to do a decent length of headline set, that's why lucifer are on so early. that, and they have to go to work. Flash@TMB
We would proabably prefer to put Radio Lucifer on at 8pm. There are 4 bands, and the chances are theat Toxik will require more than an hour for their set. All in you can expect close to 5 hours of music!Seats out will mean plastic glass BTW! Flash@TMB
Oops - should also mention the doors will be at 7pm. Would adivse everyone to get down early because this is going to be busy, in spite of the fuckin bus strike!
Darth Elvis
I dropped a few plugs for the gig last night on Northsound as well!

Guest MDP
will there be a mad dash to remove it if it gets very busy very fast?
Flash@TMB
will there be a mad dash to remove it if it gets very busy very fast?It takes 2 hours to take them out, and longer to put them back. Anyway most people prefer the option of sitting down and drinking out of a real glass.
Flash@TMB
Well nights like that remind me why it's worth getting up in the morning We judge the seats situation just right with everyone being comfortable and not too packed. All the bands were quailty. Radio Lucifer played a stonking opening set. Red Man walking were their usual impressive selves even minus Greig's foreskin (who later appeared with Toxik Ephex). This was the best I've heard them. Toxik were reduced to a 3 piece (from 5) and their set was part genius part shambolic, but it was certaibly entertaining, the closing number 'Take Your Share' was probably the highlight, and some new people learned the words. But IMO Obsessive COmpulsive stole the gig. They were outstanding, the singer has a great and powerful voice, and they were very tight. Their last number was my favourite, and we played it again inthe car on the way home. I hope they come back soon.Oh - and the crowd were good too. Bedtime.
Guest MDP
i sadly missed toxik ephex... radio lucifer were ace, as were red man walking.i agree with flash tho, obsessive compulsive totally stole the show, they were awsome
