Lemonade
The Tilted Wig is my starting place for any night out, or for an afternoon jar.
Skull Commander
Best pubs in no order are, the bassment, the tilted wig, the moorings, ma camerons, and the old blackfriers.

TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I am so glad I don't live next to the 524 anymore, nearly every night there was some kind of drunk 524 commotion going on.It's lack of windows kinda put me off going in, that and the overpowering smell of weed when you walked past. Guest Les Stroszek
my local consists on The Kittybrewster Lounge/Bar (I have yet to go in)That used to be my local too when I lived at the top of George Street its alright if you can't be bothered going in to town though the Northern Hotel bar up the road is a little bit better. In town I go into the Bassment, Tilted Wig, Blue Lamp (only on Friday nights), Triple Kirks and the Moorings.
Marsh
The Rosemount Bar - It's so close to my house I could walk up in my slippers if I was 30 years olderIt's owned by an ex AFC ChairmanIt's reasonably priced for a pintIt's aiways got the fitba / results / some kind of sporting activity on - on a big screenIt's full of interesting old folk all the timeThere's always a paper lying aboutThe bar staff are friendly and fastIt has a dartboardIt has a cleary rigged puggie you simply cannae jackpotSmoking is allowedThe general decor makes you feel like you are in a timewarpIt has a lounge attached, so if we are ever "entertaining" folk and want to go for a quiet drink in comfortable surroundings, we always have "the lounge option"A "real pub" for me indeed! Inkster
Prince of Wales or Archie's is always nice when your in the city centre.Bassment cos of the music and food. The atmosphere is usually good too.The only thing I resent about living up here is that the closest 'local' is The Palm Court hotel or Bertie's Sports Bar. Camie
My more regular haunt seems to be becoming The Wild Boar. I don't really go out drinking that much though... my local consists on The Kittybrewster Lounge/Bar (I have yet to go in) Archies too' date=' of course.[/quote']Snap on the Kitty.I am not too fond of Wild Boar despite the lovely furniture it posesses. It is too dark and lacks good lighting in my opinion.
Guest *alex*
I like the Wild Boar.JAM is good for some 69p drinks on a Wednesday, and it's practically on my door step.I don't find myself in pubs very often anymore, I've started heading into town later and later and just going straight to the "clubs". Swingin' Ryan
The only thing I resent about living up here is that the closest 'local' is The Palm CourtHow can you resent the Palm Court? Just because it's difficult to walk after sitting in the chairs, the bar looks like someone's been at it with a chain saw and water leaks over the beer taps when it rains! Other than that it's brilliant, it would be like the Cheers bar if Norm had been an old man who had to be prodded occasionaly to make sure he's not dead. Guest tv tanned
Usually I can be found in the Old School House if in town, otherwise it's Staging Post or Spider's Web for me depending on the company I'm keeping at the time. Swingin' Ryan
Yeh if you've had a couple in the function room and you're over 2 feet tall, going to the toilet can result in head wounds from the door frames.

Camie
The Bassment is the best in the 'Deen.Especially Fridays. What are your reason's for them?Just I think apart from the food and the music that it's average.Friday is good if a lot of your friend's are there and you want some pre-moshulu drinks but that's it. Knight of Swords
I've only ever been to one pub in Aberdeen. Haven't got a clue what it was called, but it somewhere in the vacinity of Pittodrie. Think there was a big amusements/ arcade type place near it, which was also next to a small children's park and it was practically on the beach.
