They shop at Tesco, B&Q and Next and their favorite film of all time is Titanic or anything with Eddie Murphy in it.As well as the above, they also still own the Celine Dion single they had played at the ''Touch of Class'' wedding disco. They decided to buy it from Amazon and hand it to the DJ just in case he did'nt have it. Its got their newly married name written on the cracked jewel case. The DJ lost the cover. All their other CDs came free with the News of the World. Every fucking Sunday. They are always called Kev and Claire. Occasionally Louise. Sometime Claire-Louise. Certainly if I was still driving a Nova I would be saving fo a new car instead of buying James Blunt CDs.
NARC
I'm surprised U2 are so far down the list, considering they are "the biggest band in the world". But correctly so, methinks, for that album.

GraemeC
I this a silly question...?Who the fuck cares...?I think a good proportion of the people who frequent these boards could have guessed the top 10 if they had put their mind to it....I cant imagine how dissapointed I would be if any of the bands I like appeared high on that list, you have to remember its not about taste....its about marketing. GraemeC
So you be disappointed if a band you liked were well marketed?Thats the whole point, they wouldnt be, there is no point in marketing bands who wont ever appeal to a wide audience.A large proportion of the music on that list starts with a marketing meeting...the music is an afterthought....***in my opinion***. Guest Les Stroszek
Mainstream indie/rock is particuarly disgusting. Did anyone see that top selling acts of the decade so far on C4 recently. Some manager guy was talking about Keane 'when I discovered them they had a guitarist and were very noisy. I decided the guitarist had to go strip the music down give it bigger chouruses so it appeals to a wider demographic. When I was in another band previously we went on this course with some idiot from London who had 'worked with loads of big names and appeared on Jools Holland'. He kept saying things like 'Write a really alternative song like Smells Like Teen Spirit', 'lets have lots of dramatic pauses and big chourses', 'remember our formula guys, stick to the formula'. Inevitably the rest of the band agreed with him and not me! But I was right damn it! I just think that record industry types are morons really.
