NME's Andrew Kendall is selling exclusive prints to replace stolen camera

NME photographer Andrew Kendall was recently the victim of a violent mugging in which his camera kit (worth around 5,000) was stolen.

The lensman was mugged in Stoke Newington, London, on October 22 while returning home from a gig he was covering for NME.

However since the attack the photographer has been told by his insurance company that he is not eligible for any compensation.

Kendall is now desperately trying to raise enough money to replace the stolen equipment and is selling limited edition prints to help raise funds.

A stalwart of this publication, much of Kendall's work has featured in the pages of NME and NME.COM (including the shot of Thom Yorke accompanying this article) and his subjects include the likes of Pete Doherty, Kaiser Chiefs and Arctic Monkeys.

Prints cost 15 and all the proceeds will go to helping out this gentleman photographer. For more information go to Andrewkendall.com

You guys should have a look at some of these cause this guys work is amazing.

*now if only wasnt so skint*

Good on him' date=' stopping awful NME-by-numbers bands from having an internet presence is a good thing :D[/quote']

the nme dont even like the others anymore, the others never built their fanbase from nme readers, theyve had a strong loyal following for a long time before the nme started writing about them.
