Guest DustyDeviada
A great player, but well past his prime, and well done to Man U for showing that no one player is bigger than the team, even Keane.
Guest tv tanned
Cue him signing for Celtic and then they'll have two over-the-hill Irish midfielders to choose from

Guest tv tanned
I am aware of the distinction, however to all intents and purposes I'm classing them as Irish.

Guest Les Stroszek
If Keane had bad things to say about the Man U squad what would he say about the Aberdeen one? Do you think he could except training in Seaton Park?

-matthEw-
he'll be at Celtic come Monday...is there anything stopping him doing that? this transfer window malarky confuses me no end. i know he could sign as an amatuer, but thats not going to happen. if theres nothing stopping him signing by monday, then yeah, he'll be there by then. Guest DustyDeviada
I think if he's left Man U his contract will have been terminated and he can sign for whoever he wants.
Guest DustyDeviada
has anyone stopped to consider that Gordon Strachan may not actually want Keane? Whatever happens he's not going to play for sweeties, and as he already has Lennon playing in that deep midfield role, Strachan may prefer to save his funds to strengthen other areas, central defence perhaps. HeinzHines
I now wonder...Ballack to replace him for sure? Or that guy from Deportivo....or someone else...either way you can bet your ass that Man-U are gonna get ripped off in january for some overrated midfielder... Scootray
I just heard the news on the radio about 10 minutes ago. I didn't realise they meant leaving with immediate effect. Being a Man U fan, I think it's a pity he's had to go this way, but to be honest, I would say that his leaving now was more his decison than the clubs. All the crap going on at Old Trafford at the moment, I don't blame him. I'm pretty sure Keane was forced out of Old Trafford at least partly because of those comments....which is a shame, cos everything he said is pretty much spot on, and if Fergie is still the manager he once was, im sure hes completley aware of it being the case. but you just cannot come out and say those things about your team mates in public
HeinzHines
but you just cannot come out and say those things about your team mates in publicApart from about Darren Fletcher....he really is shit
jimr
Darren Fletcher isn't that bad. He's a good passer of the ball, not all that much flair but I think he's won some breathing space with that header. You have to remember he's still young and has been pretty fucked with injuries. I think he will be one of Scotlands key players for a good decade atleast.
HeinzHines
I agree that he will be one of scotlands key players....And i also agree about the breathing space from the chelsea win...Still doesnt excuse his lack of effort week in week out for the reds!Alan Smith is just as bad...but at least he's trying...Fletcher will be in Man-U's team as long as Ferguson is in charge...
