Now this is a thread!

Do whelks count? I suppose not, as the shell of a whelk already looks like the hat the Clare Grogan wore when she was on Top Of The Pops doing 'Happy Birthday'.

This is a harder one than I first imagined - I thought snails, but then remembered Brian from The Magic Roundabout and his little red number. It's easier to think of animals that do wear hats - monkeys, horses, donkeys, elephants, cats (there's a book about that), mice (Speedy Gonzalez)

Hammerhead sharks, how about that? They would need the biggest, most oddly shaped hat ever created.

Now this is a thread!

lol, i agree.

i don't think a starfish would care if it wore a hat or not...

but rabbits....well, that takes us back to the infamous "look, it's a bunny with a pancake on it's head" thing.

he begs to differ

yeah' date=' but that's no worm. that's a worm in an apple. worms in apples don't count here :nono:

Of course a starfish can wear a hat, it can wear five!!!!

again, not true. at least one will fall off and it needs 2 spare limbs for the boots.

What about humans? whos ever seen one of them wear a hat!?!?

"oooh I'm a human! I wear a hat!" *human does a little dance*

erm what about...... Bats! their hats would fall off when they were upside down!

not when they hold on to their hats.

but they dont have hands! :p

but they have claws' date=' which are remarkably similar to the function of hands ;)

Look, you insensitive little runt, hats have feelings too, they feed off dandruff

yes. but i doubt that an innate object has feelings...
