framheim Posted November 15, 2005 Report Share Posted November 15, 2005 see everything that appears on the right hand side of the bottom of your display as it loads? right click and hit options on the ones you can there then there should be options to stop them loading on start up. it's one way to do it. martinduthie Posted November 15, 2005 Report Share Posted November 15, 2005 go to start > then go to run > then type - msconfigclick on the startup tab.. and uncheck all the programmes that u dont want to startup..the ones u shouldnt touch are the system files.. these will be pretty obvious.. as they have weird names. Just uncheck the programmes that are saved in the programme files location on ur local drive usually C:eg... C:\programme files\quicktime\qtask.exe-------------------------------If that is not of any help, you can always download several startup manager programmes.. many can be found on google...
