starfish dave
There is a twelve hour blues gig scheduled for the Blue Lamp this coming saturday, 29th Oct. The gig is set to raise money for the musicians who lost their livelihood and in some cases, everything, in the hurricane Katrina disaster in New Orleans. All support will be greatly appreciated, there are around ten or eleven blues bands, duos and solo performers giving their time free for this worthwhile cause. The action starts at midday on Saturday and runs through until midnight. Ticket price is 5 for an all-day ticket, they will be available on the door. There are lots of raffle prizes as well, but don't be afraid to bring along a bottle or a cd to donate as a prize, who knows, you may even win it back! Acts include:- Lazy Poker, Son Henry Band, Snakehips O'Donnel, Papamojo, Wolftrain, Mr Spider, Pete Goldie and the Bourach Brothers. See you there on the day, it'll be a gas!!
