Bass Cadet
No-one thinks you're cool because you are so damn power metal you don't even like Iron Maiden anymore.Yeah it's too easy to get too fixated on Power Metal - You have to remember your roots man! Fast Caz
Megadeth are better
Scorge
Rubbish excuse!Being in MT meant you covered' date=' like - what, ten of their songs? As opposed to the 100+ that they have actually written.[/quote']Yes, but I managed to learn virtually all of them (even some of the X Factor b-sides, which piss over most of the album tracks)! It's not a case of disliking Iron Maiden, it's the fact that the saturation over two and a half years (yes, THAT long) pushed me off them for a while by the end..... Rass
Megadeth are better Megadeth aren't even in the same ballpark.Metallica are, and they are Manchester United to Megadeth's Degenham & Redbridge.Maiden, have a God-like staus on this scale....In my opinion. Kidding if course. However I would say that I actually think Maiden, Metallica and Megadeth aren't even comparable when talking about metal - in the sense that whether you love one of them or loathe another... they have all brought great and awful (but different) things into the world of metal that the others haven't. Hog
Could it be time to compare St Anger and The system has failed? Dunno.Bin kirk and get Mustaine in for lead/some songwriting, that would make me happy.Anyway, NPFTD, excellent album!

Hog
Oh did I mention I hate Devin Townsend. Which is why you are a member of www.hevydevy.com forums. You are still pissed off that Dev's drummer is in Opeth at the moment

You are still pissed off that Dev's drummer is in Opeth at the moment No, because, he isn't.It's Martin Axenrot of the more critcally acclaimed BLOODBATH! playing for them just now. He doesn't eat as much pies and has a strong hairline.
Joe Atom
Very difficult to try and pick my one favourite Maiden song... if I had to survive with only three I'd pick Phantom of the Opera, Alexander the Great and Sign of the Cross
fatboy
its really hard to choseive always loved phantom and the clansmanthe others change daily, im likingsign of the cross, wasting love, and public enema number one justs nowthe lead intro after the little laugh is excelenthallowe'en canna wait
Erskine Atom
Powerslave, Hallowed and Sign of the Cross are immense. I too also love the Clansman however the crap timing change on the album version near the beginning is a total downer combined with the production on the whole album really. I have no idea why they didn't notice it at the time. The live version of Afraid to Shoot Strangers with Blaze is mint... [starts to realise this list could go on and on...] Paschendale and Blood Brothers are more recent ones I love.
