Caribou on the road with the Super Furry Animals

Lots of Caribou news to finish off a really great year for us. Thanks so much to everyone who came out to our shows and supported us so many great gigs and we still have almost sixty to go before the years out.

A. Marino DVD

Im really excited to announce the release of a DVD entitled Marino collecting all the videos made by Dublin based animators Delicious 9 and featured in our live shows over the past two years. Aside from the more than 60 minutes of videos - one for almost every song from my two most recent albums The Milk Of Human Kindness and Up In Flames - Marino will also come with a bonus CD EP featuring 4 unreleased and exclusive tracks taken from The Milk of Human Kindness Sessions.

Marino will be released on Domino in North America and The Leaf Label in the rest of the world on November 1st, 2005. HOWEVER, we will be selling Marino at our upcoming shows including shows in the UK and Ireland - almost a full month before you'll be able to get it in shops.

B. UK Tour Starts the Day After Tomorrow.

Were doing 18 dates around the UK and Ireland Oct 6th 25th. Well be joined by the Russian Futurists for most of the dates plus shows with Four Tet and Animal Collective. As mentioned above, well have the Marino DVD available for sale on this tour three weeks before its in shops. See below for full details.

C. US and Canada tour with the Super Furry Animals

We've just confirmed over 30 shows in Canada and United States. The majority of them are supporting the Super Furry Animals with some headline shows along the way as well. We will probably add a couple more shows shortly.

These will probably be our last shows for a while as I'm excited about getting back to recording some new music in the new year so hopefully see you somewhere along the way.
