Dedalus news (for anyone who cares)

Guest Dedalus

Recommended Posts

Having reformed and expanded, Dedalus have had a shocker of a month, rocked largely by departures within the band.

At the minute, people have felt the need to cease their involvement with the band to understandably focus on other things, and the band is now down to three core members with a stand-in drummer. The songs previously written and rehearsed for the expanded Dedalus have been either shelved or scrapped, and four new songs form the basis of the new material, with more being written currently, and we think people might be pleasantly surprised with the output.

We will be playing such new material as we headline Kef at Halloween.

Remaining in the band is:

Phillip Quirie

Steven Rainey

Robert Smith

It's very disappointing that others have left, but it was hard to avoid. We still want more involved, but at the minute that doesn't appear viable.

do u still play that 'car broke dounnnn in..... the middle of... ireland' song?

Nope, new material entirely. All three aformentioned remaining members are contributing heavily to every song being written. I'll try and get them online or at least available to send via email asap, if anyone is keen to hear some of the new songs.

Thanks for your interest.

An awful little book. Silly little images in it too, that stupid skull just bothered me.
