Naturally as an Alanis junkie I'm loving the new take on JLP and I reckon it was a great idea to release a new and completely re-recorded version of it, the string arrangements work really well, a little bit like her MTV unplugged release but better.

It was never gonna please everyone, but I hardly think it was a pointless release.

Matter of opinion , its a classic album to me, one of very few albums where i like every track

Now, going by the successful=classic theory, those Celine Dion and Shania Twain albums are classics too. I think not.
