Miss Groupie Supreme
They really should chop down the ones outside my house. They are so tall that I can't get Sky or even see the sky, oh what a wonderful view.

David
it depends where the trees are and how annoying they are to people living near you... the council chopped down a couple of trees next to my house which was great, as otherwise they blocked out the sun for most of the afternoon... so its quite likely someone asked them to do it before they would bothertree's are excellent, but there are more than enough around my house (i live right at the edge of town) that a few missing wont make too much of a difference, especially when they were taken down for a reason David
vapid
6 inch nails put in diagonally in the trunk. You can hammer them in when no-ones about. Too short notice for ceramic spikes (which can't be detected by metal detectors). Make sure you put up a warning, though, cos the saws have serious kickback, and people are likely to look for you if anyone gets injured.
