offramp
Ok, so I was at Teenage Fanclub last night, and was thinking about other ace gigs I've seen there.Number One Ever = Spiritualized in January last year.I think my ears are still hurting from that one. Over to you lot. One choice only. Multiple entries may result in neg scene points. You been warned.

CamilleY
This thread is not fair !! I've had some amazing nights at the Lemon Tree, but the winner is. . . . . . . Toots and the Maytals.Rammed to the ceiling (spent some interesting time squished to a pillar), the music was great and the crowd bounced.Problem is, if you ask me later, I'll have changed my mind. . . Marillionboy
I think for old times sake it was probably The Australian Pink Floyd Show the first time, when tribute bands were a new thing and they really blew me away.
jester1470
Well as it was the only time I've seen my favourite live performer in Aberdeen I'd say Fish playing at the Sunsets on Empire gig, first gig of the tour and one of only a handfull with Keith More and Fish put his hand through the ceiling. Great show, great audience and one of the first times I ever met him,CheersStuart
Marillionboy
Yes I nearly put this down, I think on reflection that wins out for me too. It was a terrific gig and a good set. Crowd were lively and the banter was good!

Alan Cynic
I've seen so many, I really WANT to do a multiple entry, but I'll abide by the rules and say..Townes Van Zandt in May '94. The atmosphere was weird, with everyone rooting for him to get through it without cracking up, and it brought out a brilliant, albeit fractured, set.
