Not got a clue where to put this, just thought I'd say Hi!

I watched The People's Court this morning and thought I'd join up.

I'm a 24yo Classical Composer, mainly write Brass Band music and Orchestral music, but I do produce Dance and Electronic music, I guess I symbolise everything that a Rock Musician isn't, but what the hell, I just thought I'd join and see what trouble I can get myself into.

We hate you and your fans are all hooligans! (Especially all those Orchestral types)

Erm... welcome to ab-music.com, perhaps this People's Court nonsense will bring some more folks like yourself onboard which would be no bad thing.

good to see some diversification, I tire of the relentlessly guitar driven theme of this site. I hope this might encourage more by way of classical musicians and others to come here and build a more diverse musical community.

Might help broaden some folks horizons too.

I'd be interested in hearing some of your classical brass and orchestral music. Do you have a website or is your music online somewhere? Just to see if it's any good.

oh, and welcome. ^_^

Only got a few on the web just now, but have loads more MP3's of my stuff, I'll get them online ASAP ;)

For now, have a listen to these two very different pieces of mine....

Sheep Alone (for String Orchestra) 2004

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/writePage.cfm?myType=music&bandid=307631&bandnamesave=jamesmcfadyencomposer

It chops the last few vital seconds off the piece, so excuse the way it ends.

The Ring of Brodgar (for Brass Band) 2005

http://www.myalias.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/audio/James%20McFadyen%20-%20The%20Ring%20of%20Brodgar.mp3

Hope you enjoy ;)
