you are WRONG' date=' The Beatles are AMAZING. You suck, plus you like Led Zeppelin hahaha im glad im not you.[/quote']

Well gee, I'm glad you were able to actually offer a proper explanation as to why you like them, and that I am wrong. I was hoping for a response from an adult, so back away from they keyboard, and let mummy or daddy back on, OK.

And also, I'm glad you're not me too. Glad we got that sorted out

And the full list is on channel4.com

ok. grasp this...

The Beatles are in there 3 times BECAUSE they produced 3 of the best albums voted by the Great British Public...

If I, an immature little twat who is about to go to bed because daddy is going to beat me up if I dont let him on, had made this list, I probably would of been forced to put them in at least 5 times in the top 20...because they made the best music that has ever been made

As to why I like them? thats an extra question from your original one, but I will answer anyway. The Beatles, Paul, George and John, were among 3 of the greatest songwriters ever. They were also blessed with great singing voices, and had great harmonies. They looked cool as fuck as well, and were influential to almost everything after them. From Please Please Me, to Rubber Soul, to the White Album, and Abbey Road they changed popular music, writing classic after classic...this is tiresome and incoherent but rest assured, if you dont like The Beatles, I believe you have some sort of agenda against them, or you like mans willies.

That list is so awful it's not even ironically humorous.

U2 better then Sinatra or Elvis?

Coldplay and The Smiths better than the Sex Pistols?

Who Votes?

That's my girl

Oh she's REALLY not...

She has put a few in hospital though. And I will happily admit she could hand my ass back to me.

she sounds LOVELY, i wish i had a girlfriend who was willing to and capable of hospitalizing men.

I'm just glad the Beatles weren't number one. Yes, they did some good music, but to put them at the top of every best song/album/band list is really narrow minded, boring and taking the piss. I'm not a huge fan of Radiohead but it made a nice change.

I think I've only got about 3 of the albums mentioned but there was a nice mix of stuff there. I'm seriously concerned about the people who voted for Dido and Robbie Williams though...how did they sneak in there? :help:

What did you all expect though? You've all seen hundreds of this type of show, were you really expecting to see every band you've ever liked? It's a fact that nine times out of ten these 'top 100 best...' shows will be topped by either The Beatles (or one of the solo efforts) or the Simpsons seeing as they only ever seem to do shows on music or tv. Blah.

And EMINEM?!?! :puke: there are so much better "dark" hip-hop albums (Esham the Unholy, N.A.T.A.S) but cute little Marshall gets a mention, coz all the little kids think he is such a bad boy, and Top of The Pops and the like keep going on about how he is sooo cutting edge. All he does is make me wanna cut my wrists!!

No no' date=' rest assured, I am the weirdo.

Does anyone have all 100?[/quote']

I manage 17 of those albums in my collection.

I for one find OK Computer to be one of the most beautiful albums, and I don't have a problem with it being no. 1
