Dan G
Think they are worth the 2000-3000 asking price?Sound/play well?
bryn
ive heard they are excellent sounding guitars. Also, a top range PRS will appreciate in value like a bitch, so its gona be a pretty good investment.

New Found Power
Why buy a PRS when for the same price you could have something fairly unique, like a US-made Jackson with a cool finish?

Alex
Our drummer in epsilon minus has a PRS McCarty and a parker nitefly. And a V-Drum/Tama kit. Utter, utter bastard. Think the value would depend on how much you got out of it.

Ross
PRS guitars are lovely guitars from what I can gather from people I know who play then. Sikth/Aconite Thrill etc swear by them....also a hell of a lot of metal/metalcore bands use them.

Guest neil ex
well i would never pay 2000-3000 for a guitar, it just seems like a ridiculous waste of money to me.

Princess
There gorgeous guitairs. My little brother has a custom 24. It sounds amazing and looks sexy (the guitair not my bro.)
Tav
I think like any guitar it depends on the specific guitar. Obviously they are going to be made to a high standard but just because they cost 2000+ doesn't mean they are all going to be fantastic. Wood is such an inconsistant material that finding a guitar that sounds brilliant is a lucky dip...though having high standards of build and finish is going to signifcantly improve the chances. I should think that paying money for a quality guitar is a worth while investment but for that money you can get better...
bryn
You only play guitars tht cost under 150!! wow! don't you care about tone?My 600 Ibanez has a fantastic tone all around, I played a 1200 Ibanez Rg somethin or other, and the tone was even better, I would guess, a 2grand PRS will sound incredible. Especially as many people consider Ibanez to be badly made....
