delboy
its sounding pretty neat, its quite experimental and dancey in places but on first impression its better than 'a weekend in the city' which i never really took to. if your a fan i'd deffo recommend it, its not selling too well mind is dropping out the album charts like a stone in water after just 2 weeks but its done pretty well in the states. Guest treader.
i wasnt a huge fan of weekend in the city either, other than maybe 1 or 2 songs.i'll give it a listen (aka download it illegally) tonight.
The59Sound
I thought A Weekend in the City was pretty tidy, with moments of genius (Uniform, to be specific). I haven't heard the new record yet, owing heavily to my burning dislike of Mercury. How indicative is that to the rest of the album?
Mouse
I'd say about 1/3 of A Weekend In The City is excellent, the rest is either ok or just mediocre. New album is brill but it won't beat Silent Alarm

Goodman46
The Pretty Things 'N Mates - Rockin' The Garage. A tribute to American garage rock. Originally recorded in the 80's but never officially released. Now out on the Voiceprint label. Brilliant vibrant music played suberbly well. If you're a fan of Logreybeam or Fennesz you really should get a hold of it! Lose track of time and pretty much everything else under a mass of lovely fuzz and bleeps.Edit; Oh...just checked and it's gone oop already!
