I have played in various bands in Aberdeen over the years including Blaze (originally Saracen then the Restless Breed) who were a heavy rock band back in the day. Back then it was sex, drugs and rock,n,roll whereas now its very little sex if any, no drugs and folk rock. We played a fair bit around town, up North and down South and recorded two cd,s the second of which was never released even though I am still pushing to this day to get it heard. I played in a couple of covers bands but really these days are over and i do all the playing on yorlum myself. That said i am a jack of all trades so for example i have limitations on fiddle for example so may call on friends who are better players for solos and will always credit anyone on the site for their efforts.

I have an acoustic duo i play in with Penny Wells and together we play and record original acoustic folk / blues. All material can be heard at Millbrigmusic.com and can be accessed via yorlum. We colaborate on some material usually where Penny writes the words and i do the music but mostly the songs are written (words and music) by Penny and I do the playing / recording at Downies.
