I love the sound of it unplugged and plugged in but I really can't project my percussiveness if that's a word. The pickup just doesn't pick it up!

i thought a thin finish would let the wood breath more? I don't mind about damage, I know a local guy who can touch it up for me if need be.

so the guitar is based on a martin 0028vs. that's a parlour body with a slotted headstock. The builder is being a gent and doing all AAA tone woods. its a 41mm neck width and a c profile neck. i still need to buy a pick-up for it, im looking at the fishman matrix. so the specs are; AAA sitka spruce topsolid indian rosewood back and sidessolid flamed maple wedge in the backsolid maple binding1 piece ebony fretboardebony bridgehand picked UK mahogany for the neck and headstock And he's also french polishing it!!!

I think it's a good opportunity for me whilst ive got nothing else to pay for ive got the cash for this. I just need to buy a case to get it shipped in
