Switching from Mac to pc for recording. alas my old MacBook has given up the ghost.. Can anyone advise on how much ram, hd, processor speed etc required to record maybe 12 tracks per song (Inc the odd software track) .. I will be using mixcraft. cheers

Acquired a12 string acoustic in a swap deal but its not for me.. it's done the rounds on the forum, Adams of canada hand crafted acoustic in good shape. Looking for 100 or a swap for pedals or a small amp. Cheers

Listening to two things heavily at the moment.. The bevis frond/Nick saloman New River Head album and High Tides album called Sea Shanties.. High tide are a cool late 60s band, kind of an early metal version of The Doors lol

Wilco are awesome full stop. Tweedy the man.. His album with his son is really good also, think its just called Tweedy! The lad can write a song and the circuit bent instruments and weird goings on on wilco albums just add more to the great songwriting

Komplete is top class.. You are right though , it is so vast that i doubt anyone would use it to its full potential. The great thing is its always there if you invest in it just incase inspiration strikes!!

Shakespeare is brutal.. Remember it well , Macbeth for my Higher english exam in 1989 lol Some hideous but beautiful quotes. I should read some more of that stuff!! I also second 1984 by george orwell as a fantastic read.
