Looking for a drummer to complete our line up. We write dark indie pop - The aim is to write really big sounding songs, drenched in reverb with a garage rock feel that is rough around the edges. Synth plays a part in our sound too. We consist of Vocals, two guitarists and bass player at the moment and are looking for someone who is interested in the same idea with sound and is dedicated. Influences to the sound are vast but to name a few - Joy Division, White Lies, The XX, Hurts, Arctic Monkeys, Editors, NIN, LCD Sound System, Phoenix, Manic street preachers, Glasvegas. Give me a shout if you are keen and we can take it from there. We have a couple of rough demos/ ideas to let anyone who is interested hear.

A little tired of the whole heavy shouting side of the aberdeen music scene and want to do something different. I'm looking to start something up with like minded musicians with an indie pop/ dream pop sort of vibe. I take inspiration from The XX, Passion Pitt, The Young and Famous, Beach House, however, I also take from Bloc Party, The maccabees, The Smiths to name a few more. I'm looking ideally for someone that has knowledge on sampling/a music producer to collab with or depending on who comes forward a drummer, bassist and guitarist. I'm a guitarist but would play bass if needed and can give vocals.

I've got a range of different influences so these are a few of the bands I'm listening to at the moment: Airship, Morning parade, delphic, maccabees, friendly fires, fenech-soler, ou est le swimming pool, the xx, the medics, big talk... I'm into a lot of different genres and would say I'm quite diverse. Have been playing for about 10 years, been in a fair few bands and played a fair amount of shows.
