Hey, posting on behalf of my other guitarist... Last week at practice we set up our gear like normal, he set up his vox nightrain 50 watt head, warmed the valves, went to use it and there was no sound... Like nothing at all, not even a hum, the tubes were all glowing, everything was on and up loud enough to hear. Any ideas what could of happened that's causing this? We tested the cab with another head and it was fine, tested the head with another cab too and still nothing. Is it fooked or could it be something simple? Knowledge is pretty limited with tube amps I don't like to poke about with them too much. Any advice would be good. Cheers!

So I have two overdrive pedals on my board, a light bluesy one and a mid crunchy, bad company/free sorta sound. Last night at band practice there were a few songs that were just too clean sounding when I played them, I needed more gain but I wouldn't use it enough to justify buying another pedal just for those two songs or whatever. So my question is... Any recommendations for a dual overdrive pedal? something I can get a free/bad company sound on one side and an extra gain stage that's bordering on distortion on the other? Preferably nothing that's gonna cost be an arm and a leg! Thanks in advance!

I bought this the other day, it's lovely, just not quite what I'm looking for, comes with a fitted takamine hardcase. A few little bumps but nothing to worry about. I'd be looking for an acoustic trade, not after anything else. I can put money either way depending what's on offer.
