New band looking for a screamer, influences are very much Hardcore stuff like While She Sleeps with maybe a little sprinkle of Metalcore i.e. Of Mice and Men and Miss May I for Flava. The plan is to focus more on writing at the moment, we've got some stuff ready to get into a room and make noise with. Once we've got a little more organised and more noise-making material i'd be looking to add cleans in somewhere for Dat Chorus. But it's cool just now. Unless you can do cleans well too. That would be Sick. Vibes. Everyone else is experienced in both recording and gigging so it'd be great if you were similarly..well... Experienced in recording in gigging. Bassist position is filled, just looking for a drummer now.

Need a drummer and bassist to complete a female fronted Rock/Metal deal. Influences Include Halestorm, Seether, Metallica, Skillet, Korn, Shinedown, Alice in Chains. The list could go on. Individually we have a pretty wide range of very different influences but this is the sort of vibe we're going for as a band. Age wise looking for folks around 16-21. Probably start out with a couple of covers as per usual to get everyone working together but there's a definite aim to get producing original material and gigging as quick as we can. Guitarist, 19, been playing for like 10 years. Looking for a rock band to get gigging with asap. I'd rather be writing and playing originals but starting out with covers is ok ofcourse. Mainly influenced by hard rock bands in terms of what i usually play on my instrument, bits of proper heavy metal too: Van halen, Guns n Roses, Aerosmith (older 70's albums rather than 80's powerballad-y stuff) , Zeppelin kind of stuff but these are just what i tend to play. I've got a really open and eclectic taste in music. Not so much into modern metal and the softer sides of indie but i'm really up for anything else so give me a pm if you're not sure. As i say i'd rather join a band than start one up but i'm not hugely fussed either way, as long as we can actually get something going. I just want to blast faces with rock and roll bad ass noise. Really into Queens of The Stone Age right now if that's any help. I don't know. Just get in touch.

Anybody want to make a proper rock'n'roll band? I'm into the regular stuff like ac\dc, zeppelin, aerosmith, sabbath, guns 'n' roses etc etc you know the score when it comes to classic hard rock probably heard it about a billion times before. The good stuff. I'm into early/80's heavy metal aswell like van halen, Judas priest and iron maiden, motorhead and stuff like motley crue and other cock rock too. Fan of bits and pieces of the original hardcore punk bands like black flag, minor threat and gorilla biscuits type stuff too. The list of stuff could go on and on and on but i'll spare you all (unless you really want an extended history of my music tastes) for your own sake.
