  1. I agree - I haven't played in a month or so and still can't hear properly out of my right ear. Fucking ride cymbal has destroyed my poor lug
  2. I believe the Monday has now gone, but there is still space available on; Fri night Saturday day/night Sunday day/night
  3. Nah, it's more like 'ooooh, look I found another photo from before that I posed for, here's me 3 months later #eatclean'
  4. Anyone who posts photos of their food with the tagline '#eatclean #protein #dominate' or such shite does my head in. One guy on my FB constantly posts about how much weight he's lost, with a before and after photo. Several times. Every day. Without fail. FUCK. OFF.
  5. No Milner, I want her to perform in my living room. I'll offer a bag of Jelly Babies for her services. Your move, Milner.
  6. Was a great kit, took it round the country in the summer and it didn't miss a beat (excuse the pun)
  7. If you are the gent I picked it up from out the road, then yes it is! With a few upgrades and extras.
  8. This response made me giggle far more than it should've.
  9. Sounds good to me buddy - just want rid of it all tbh. Needs gone sharpish as it's taking up space in Uniform's practice space and I'm not even in the band anymore!
  10. Oh, and I'll also chuck in a Paiste 16" Crash cymbal and a Premier vintage snare drum, and a stickbag with beaters/sticks etc.
  11. Or install a data warning app - I've got one that when you get up to a certain amount, it flags how much you've used.
  12. Drummonds, The Tunnels, Downstairs, The Lemon Tree, Slains Castle would be your bets Search for them on Facebook and also Aberdeen Gig Promotions and Oliver Richards (he does Slains)
  13. Daft Punk use live musical instruments recorded. Certain DJs do not. They use preloaded samples (that come with the program) to create music. For me (and don't call me stupid for having a different opinion to you), music is made by learning how to play something (be that preloading samples you've made yourself or learning an actual instrument) and not being handy with a bit of computer kit.
  14. It's pretty clear that's what's going on, it was a joke. Smile more, you look pretty.
  15. Dunno like Milner, I've seen our guitarist knock up a tune in an hour on an app on his iPad. Pre-programmed drums, bass etc, adjustable speeds, pre programmed pianos, it's just a case of taking all the pre-programmed stuff and shoving it together. To me, that's not making music as a musician, it's putting a heap of ready made stuff together, pressing 'condense' and letting the app or program do the work. And I will not take it back about Tiesto, as I just fucking hate dance/techno music Haha, just an annoying loon? She seems to think he was ace. She really enjoyed you guys at WakeTheDeen on Saturday by the way
  16. Although I don't have contact details, the below venues were where we played on our tour last week and a wee bit about them. Contact them directly as that's what we did and they were all welcoming; The Green Room, Perth - potential to be a brilliant venue but lacked decent quality gear. DI boxes didn't work and we actually stopped playing half way through the set due to crazy feedback, the bass amp cutting out and our singer's mic failing. Tyne Bar, Newcastle - absolutely brilliant venue, on the river Tyne. You essentially play in a beer garden, on a stage. Good PA and equipment and a nice bar. PURE, Sunderland - new venue, in a bit of a weird place. Great equipment, good crowd and very nice Engineer Monty's, Dunfermline - another great venue, even if the stage set up is a little weird. Busy place as well, we played on a Tuesday night to a decent crowd who just wanted to hear some live music. Box, Glasgow - pretty sure folk know this place, good venue, extremely uninterested sound engineer and a weird vibe about the place. The Wee Red Bar, Arts College, Edinburgh - this was our first Fringe Festival date and although it's within the Arts College and the students were on holiday, we still got a semi-decent crowd in, helped by the fact that there was so little music on during the Fringe and people wanted to see bands. The Sound Engineer was genuinely the best engineer I've worked with, spent an hour and a half soundchecking everything and made sure we were happy. Excellent. Belushi's Bar and Hostel, Edinburgh - just off the Royal Mile, full of backpackers etc. Small stage but good set up. Hope this helps.
