Our band, This Machine Kills Fascists, are wanting a name change. We've tried heaps of online band-name makers but with no success. Anybody have any suggestions for a new name, we play alternative rock (garage rock essentially). Adam

I have one of them already but im not a huge fan of it. I was considering buying a Tubescreamer from R&B but their prices are ridiculous.

I'm looking for a pedal that has good distortion/overdrive tone like an Ibanez tubescreamer and/or a pedal that can deliver a sweet fuzz like a Boss FZ-5 (doesnt have to be these specific pedals). I'm happy to collect from a house or meet up to get the pedal. Thanks, Adam

Surely there must be a bass player out there willing to join an upcoming band.

We are currently looking for a bass player to complete our line up (Guitar x 2, Vox and Drums) and is up for playing styles like Alternative, Garage and Hard Rock. We are currently writing our own music so any input to it would be good and we paln to record an EP in the summertime. Vocalist wanted to complete an Alternative/Hard Rock band---"This Machine Kills Fascists" We mainly play covers ranging from Rage Against The Machine to Kings Of Leon, Nine Inch Nails to The White Stripes, Blur to Manic Street Preachers and many more. We are due to play our first gig on the 18th December and hopefully get more next year. We practice regularly at Captain Toms in Aberdeen when all the members can manage (usually weekends or late afternoon-evenings on weekdays). I'm (reluctantly) selling my PRS SE 24 custom guitar and my Line 6 Spider III 30 amplifier. The PRS in whale blue is less than a year old and has no obvious dents or scratches. The Line 6 amp is about 2 years old and is in really good working order. Neither have been gigged with and i'm open to offers on them I'm willing to sell both individually (I'll send a PM with each price) or together as a set for a better price than buying them separately.
