here we are a Pop-Punk band called Nights Like These and we're looking for a singer and guitarist...we already have a drummer but would your guitarist be interested? First though, how old are you? what Pop-Punk bands are you into? and are you decent?

Alright lad's and lass's? We're Nights Like These a Pop-Punk band from Aberdeen and we are currently looking for a Singer and a Guitarist.....interested? We posted a thread before and although we got some heat from it there was no suitable candidate so we though we'd try again. We are desperately looking to complete the band line-up (currently consisting of a drummer, guitarist and bassist) and have tryed so hard to find someone; we've asked friends who we thought we're nearly ideal-just to be turned down, we've posted internet ads-eg these threads, and we've even taken to the streets of Aberdeen to post fliers around bus stops, lamposts, walls and public school grounds in order to try and get a singer but so far there has been relatively no interest...this bums us out. So are you suitable? First up ask yourself these mini-questions.... 1) Are you between the ages of 14-19 (we are 16 and 17 ourselves) 2) Do you sing or play guitar (no great ability is required, we aren't great at all so dont feel intimidated, we just want to play some shows and have some fun...doesnt matter if we suck) 3) Do you live in the Aberdeen-ish area (we live in the deeside area ouselves just out of Aberdeen city) 4)Do you like any of these bands - Four Year Strong, Hit The Lights, All Time Low, Fall Out Boy, Relient K, You Me At Six, The Audition, Blink 182, New Found Glory, Jack's Mannequin, The Maine, We The Kings etc. 5) Are you not a douchebag - we just want to have some serious, safe fun with decent, unpretentious people who dont take themselves too seriously. What sort of stuff are you into?...like Punk as in sex pistols or punk as in pop punk (Fall Out Boy, You Me At Six, Four Year Strong etc.) and how old are you? maybe be interested

Hey, we are Nights Like These, a Pop-Punk band from the Deeside area in Aberdeen (ie: Milltimber and Culter etc). We have recently formed but are currently only consisting of a guitarist, a bassist and a drummer. We are looking to expand to a 5 piece ideally (2 guitars, singer, drums, bass) but would happily settle for a four piece as long as we get a singer (who could potentially play guitar also). We are really eager to get started for real and write some songs and play some shows etc. If you are interested in the position it would be ace of you....requirements include: Similar taste in music (Four Year Strong, Fall Out Boy, You Me At Six, anything really thats in 'the pop-punk scene' etc.) Of the age between 15 and 19 Either sing or play guitar (or both) And just generally being a decent person to hang out with, cus we're all about having a decent time. We also request no drug taking, excessive drinking etc (we're motley crue) and keep your language fairly clean too!
