Just finished American Gods by Neil Gaiman, only read two of his books, his latest one and this one so very late to the party but I really love him as an author his books just seem to evoke a very pleasant satisfying feeling.

Was working in Peterhead last week and was amused to find someone had drawn a cock on the road. The next day I saw the highway maintenance van at the spot blocking half the road and I think they did this. This is their idea of a fix. Sorry for the bad photo it's from a moving car.
