I play in a covers band that used to gig in Aberdeen a lot but haven't done so in the last few years due to work commitments etc but looking to get back into it. Which pubs have live bands playing these days? The band play stuff like The Who, Stones, Kinks, Weller, Kasabian, Miles Kane etc.

Cover band Alive are looking for a new lead guitarist as the old one has re-located. We have played all the pubs over the Aberdeenshire area for ten years even though I'm only 26! Music played is stuff like The Who, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones and also newer stuff like The Killers, Pigeon detectives, Stereophonics etc. We have all the equipment ready to gig; all you would need is a good guitar playing ability with a guitar and amp.
