Charity event Hi there, We are a fairly recently formed weddings/functions band based in Inverurie/Kintore, and we would be interested in playing your gig as a means of getting our name known with a bit of goodwill. Although I say we are recently formed (since January), we are all well seasoned musicians ranging in age from mid thirties to fifty. We are currently working on building up our set, and have around forty songs at present ranging from The Beatles to The Kaiser Chiefs, giving a good mix of old and new. We are adding about 4 songs every fortnight, so come August or September we will have lots more. Our last gig was a 50th birthday party in Denmore Lodge Social Club in march, and everyone had a good night, with lots of good feedback about us. Bass player Hi I used to play bass in wedding bands about 20 years ago, and keen to get back playing again now the family are almost grown up. As you can guess I'm more mature than some, but have loads of experience, having also played in various rock bands in the 80s. Play bass guitar and do backing vocals. Leigh.

Oldie bass player available Hi, like you I've been away from the music scene for a while, played in various bands in the central belt in the late 70's and 80's. Played in rock bands, dance bands (playing weddings etc), covers bands, original music bands etc. I'm 50 and would like to get back playing again now the family are grown up. Play a vintage Gibson EBO bass thats just about as old as I am! Do backing vocals, harmonies etc but not lead vocals.
