My wilderness years from the boards may explain my not knowing this.... ?( I still think it will be cool to find out what people think have been the best albums of this decade though, even if to confirm my shite taste in music.

Any thoughts on the best albums (I'm old!) of the '00s (so far anyway?) My faves: Thrash: The Haunted Made Me Do It - The Haunted (this could be considered death/thrash) Death Metal: Gateways To Annihilation - Morbid Angel Black Metal: With No Human Intervention - Aborym Grindcore: Altered States of America - Agoraphobic Nosebleed (though this may change with repeated listens of Agorapocalypse.. I love ANb!!!) Punk/Emo: The Artist In The Ambulance - Thrice/ December Underground - AFI Hardcore/Metalcore: Alive or Just Breathing - Killswitch Engage/ Perseverance - Hatebreed Deathcore: The Healing Process - Despised Icon Indie: Razorlight - Razorlight (yes... I know this one's a bit weird) Guilty Pleasure: Beautiful World - Take That (this one's even weirder!!!)

Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Testament, Hatebreed, Slipknot, Biohazard, Coal Chamber to name but a few. All of whom I still listen to once in a while (with the exception of coal chamber.. what the fuck was I thinking?!)

Referring to one's girlfriend etc as 'the bird'. A mental image of burberry cap, trackies tucked into socks etc pops into my mind when I here that.

I can only think of one word to describe this band: Pish.
