Hay there. We are Pulse, a still relatively unheard of band in Aberdeen. We have done a few shows in drummonds and tunnels and a couple at Moorings. Just done a show in Brechin actually of all places. We like to gig as much as we can everywhere and anywhere. Got plans to go to Glasgow in the Holidays for a three day gig fest. But were looking for a male vocalist who likes the older styles of metal, like whitesnake, maiden, saxon, Guns N Roses, judas priest, Europe etc. Were looking for a male with a reasonably good range and a passion for singing. Our songs combine a lot of modern metal band influences as well like disturbed and killswitch engage and Alterbridge, but we don't want to scream or go too heavy. Thanks for the feedback! Hay guys. Yeah thanks for the feedback. Obviously metal doesn't seem to be your thing but you are right about the fact that we need to put on a better show and sell the songs more. That night was a sunday and it wasn't a very full a venue anyway for there to be much of a crowd response but no more time for excuses. You are absolutely right but were getting there! Thanks for the response though. It just makes us want to go out there after christmas and rock even harder! Also we know there is a band called 'the pulse' in aberdeen but we came up with the name at a time when we never knew. I think our genres are different too. Theres also a band called pulse that plays dance music in new york apparently but at this stage in the game were not giving a monkeys. But your points are all very valid. Cheers! Pulse

Yo. We are pulse detonation started up at aberdeen uni september this year by university students. We are looking for a compitent drummer who is flexible in approach, able to make regular practise and gig in and around aberdeen and then possibly further afield. We have strong ambitions with little cash. haha. We currently have 5-7 songs in development 5 ruffs of which are on are on our myspace page, noticibly without drums. THATS WHERE YOU COME IN! Hi. My name is alistair. I am a Grade 5 rockskool level electric guitar player. Not that that means shit. Currently play in my first ever, proper band Pulse Detonation (Pulse Detonation on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads). We only have ruffs up on the page but are getting there towards recordings and gigs. But I am looking for an oppertunity to play in another, already established band as a Rythem guitar player or a vocalist or both. Dont care if you already have 2 guitarists either as wouldnt mind been in a 3 man axe band! I write shit loads of riffs and lyrics all the time and sometimes there is a lot of spare material kicking around that I have that Id be willing to utilise. Playin with another band would get me more team wise and able to learn how to pick up stuff other people write. I currently have written 90% of all the music (riffs) for pulse detonation so I wouldnt mind learning how to just go with the flow for a change lol.
