I'm keen to get involved in the vocals! Been thinking about getting myself back into a band and this sounds right up my street! Unfortunately I don't know Gaelic but I can learn...

Hi Folks, I've been thining about this for a while now so i'm putting it out there to see if anyone would be interested in getting a decent wedding/events band on the go. The aim would be to get a huge range of songs under our belt covering a wide range of genres and stuff from all era's. I sing so am looking for some talented musicians to get involved- guitars, bass, drums and whatever else anyone wants to throw into the mix. I would love to be able to play too but my guitar skills are limited so i'll stick with the vocals. Oh and for the record i'm a 30yo female who has sang in a few bands preivously - The Alligatior Haters(Cover band), New Wave Heroes (Cover band) and Dirty Roots (originals). I have stuff on youtube and soundcloud (search Dawnimo). If you are interested then give me a shout and i guess we can take it from there. Cheers.

Hi Folks, Female singer, late 20's (clinging on to the last few months of it anyways..). I'm currently looking for band, covers or originals, so i can get on stage again. I'm still doing some original stuff but mainly acoustic and am currently not gigging with this. I just wanna be singing again on stage with a band, doing what i love. Hey folks, I'm currently looking to start singing with a band or possibly form an acoustic type setup with some people. I have most currently been with a band called New Wave Heroes (New wave covers) but unfortunately after only a couple of great gigs things have come to an end. Previous to that i was with The Alligator Haters (see some stuff on you tube). My voice is quite soulful but can suit all sorts of genres. Would be looking to possible start off with covers and then hopefully move into doing some original stuff. I have a mixed interest in music and love rock through to folk to Jazz. There is a Charity Fancy Dress night at the Malt Mill on the 29th. My new band "New Wave Heroes" are playing our first set. It kicks off at 7pm til 1am. A mixture of bands playing, starting with a few acoustic sets. Should be a good one. Hey Folks, Im a female singer looking to get back on the gigging scene. I used to sing with a cover band in Aberdeen called The Alligator Haters (YouTube). I have also done a few acoustic gigs here and there too. Im basically looking to get back out there. Id be open to anything from a little folksy acoustic duo right up to a full on Big Band. Id say I have a fairly soulful voice but that is open to interpretation. Anyway if you are interested or have any questions then give me a shout! D

Hey Folks, I just moved back to Aberdeen after a year down in Fife... Quarter life crisis me thinks. Anyway i basically want to unleash my vocals in Aberdeen again and hope there are some people out there who'd like to get involved. I used to sing with a local cover band before, namely The Alligator Haters so you may have seen us around. I think i'm looking for something different this time round but would not rule out joining another cover band. I quite like the idea for doing some acoustic/folk type stuff and am very much into the likes of laura marling, Mumford & Sons and the likes. I am learning to play guitar but do not think my skills are anywhere near good enough to being showcased just yet. I also like to songwrite but feel i can do it better along to music rather than off my head and since my guitar skills are limited so are my songwriting skills. Anyway thats enough for just now. If you are interested then give me a shout. I really, really miss getting on stage and singing my wee heart out and want to get back into it as soon as possible. I'm 27 by the way. Thanks folks, D

I've got quite a low, soulful voice and i've recently been singing alot of chili's, KOL, Biffy, Strokes, Hives stuff with the band i was in. Basically what i'm looking to do would fit into one(or more) of the following genres: Rock/Funk/Punk/Soul/Ska/jazz/Soul Saying that i'm into so manhy different types of music i'd be willing to try anything to see how it works. I very recently just sadly finished with a local Aberdeen cover band (one memebr left and we decided to call it a day as things were fizzling out). I've always wanted to get involved in singing with a band using original material rather than covers so i'm putting myself out there to see what there is. I don't mind doing some covers while we work on building up new tunes as long as we are making music. I've a fairly low soulful voice and if you are interested i can let you hear some stuff. Singer here! Hey I saw your post and would be quite interested. I already currently sing with a cover band and plan to continue to stay with them but have no probs getting involved with another band.
