  1. Hi, yeah that must be it. I did some Googleing, and came to that conclusion too. I only focused on the serialnumber, but the neck joint is also a factor to consider.
  2. Yeah, I'm sure. I checked the serial on various sites and they said it could be either an 1966 or an 1968. But since the nut width is 1 9/16" it could only be 1966, since they widened the nut width in 1968.
  3. Yeah, they are not really PAF's but they are very close . Didn't mean to mislead of course. I just always thought these qualified a PAF's as well. Perhaps my asking price is a bit high, but I reckon it's worth it. Granted the neckcrack is a bit of a downer, but the PAT No. pickups are a real enhancement as far as I'm concerned, the P90 guitars I've had squealed all over the place. The guitar at Elderly can be in the UK for 2175 GBP including shipping and all the taxes. So I don't think I'm that far off. Here's a pic of the neckcrack by the way.
  4. Must be somebody out there who wants this guitar?
  5. Well, GAS has struck again. I have bought me a 1966 Gibson ES-355, so this one has to go. For sale is a really nice 1966 Gibson ES-330, it has the 1 9/16" nut width, they changed that back after 1968 to 1 11/16". The serial number is 810649 This guitar has been gigged a lot and has some modifications and is priced accordingly. It has had a neckcrack which has been repaired very nice. The P90's have been changed to 60's Patent No. 2.737.842 PAF's with the L- toolmarks. These pickups alone would set you back appr. 350 GBP a piece. It also has had a refret. The good thing is the guitar plays great and sounds superb. It comes with a brown Gibson Hardcase with some wear. Asking 2100 GBP shipped to the UK. Part exchange only possible with a Gibson Les Paul Standard Flametop. Looking to receive at least 1150 cash in the deal
  6. Colin, I PMed you on musicradar.com Regards Frank
  7. I think it could be alright. They retail for about 1200 dollars used in stores in the USA: Used Gibson J100 Extra And around 950-1050 dollars from private sellers. Also you can get a SJ-150 new at 1499 GBP and this store sold their used SJ-150 for 1200 GBP. Guitar Classics | Acoustics So a private sale could go a bit lower.
  8. Looking for a Gibson J-100 Xtra with flamed maple sides and back and crown inlays. Gibson J-150 is good also. Preferably with the original case. Any wear is not a problem just looking for a good player. Looking to spend around 850 pounds, around 1050 for a SJ-150. I'm located in The Netherlands and have 150+ feedback on Ebay. 9. I sent you a PM, I think. It isn't in my Sent items list, so I'm a bit confused.
