Offering for sale, or trade, an Epiphone Les Paul Custom finished in a gorgeous Deep Cherry Sunburst, it's my understanding that Epiphone no longer produce Customs in this finish so these may soon become quite sought after. The guitar is in near perfect condition for a 5 year old guitar, one or two little dings but these have not removed any laquer. Guitar serial number is EE06017902 which dates is a 2006, I've fitted it out with a pair of gold Schaller Straplocks. Included in this sale is a black fitted hardcase, when I bought the case from EBay the seller had listed it as a "Vintage 70's Hard Case - Made in Japan", It was made by Toyo Gakki in Japan, it's a very solid case with the locking hinges in full working order. no tears in either the covering or the blue fur lining. I'm looking for 325 (Please no tyre kickers). I will also consider trade or part ex for an Ibanez Superstrat or similar. Hi there, Gather round and hear my tale of woe ... Up until last year I had been happilly plinking away on my Epiphone Les Paul ... murdering songs by the likes of Thunder, Big Country and The Quireboys ... ... but, I always kinda hankered after a superstart type guitar, so I punted my Epiphone on EBay and invested in an Ibanez S470 Black (2008 model) I got it home, plugged it in and hated the tone .... sound was too "metally" for me .. "What did I expect" I hear you cry ? Anyway, never one to admit I'd made a mistake I threw some money at the problem and had the stock pickups upgraded with a pair of DiMarzio's - a FRED at the bridge and a PAF PRO at the neck ... ... I still don't like the sound :o( to me it is still too "modern" sounding, even though those PuP's have been around for years. It's a great guitar, light and very comfortable with the very stable ZR Trem system, but it's just not "me". So ... would anyone like to trade their "Les Paul" style guitar (Epiphone / ESP etc) for my shred machine ? Happy to supply pics of the instrument for you to mull over. Cheers .... I've recently bought a Marshall MG15fx ... it's the latest in the MG series and has all the bells and whistles, built in effects, 4 channel foot controller etc. Anyway after tinkering with it for a wee while I've came to the conclusion that all the "bells and whistles" are getting on my tits. I need something simpler for spare room practice. Before I feed the monster that is EBay ... would anyone like to swap a less complicated Marshall amp for this footery thing? Part exchange with cash might be considered. cheers ....

I'm looking for someone who can repair/replace a volume pot on an Epiphone Les Paul, the knob has came free from the pot and although it goes back in there seems to be no "contact" and the volume to the bridge pickup has been cut off. Offering for sale a Marshall MG15FX. This amp is a Feb 2010 model NOT the older MGDFX which never had good reviews. The amp comes complete with the Stompware foot controller. I bought it on a bit of a whim a month or so ago but it's not really a sound I'm digging. These can be bought new for 119 ... but hey you can now save money by buying mines for once in a lifetime, never to be repeated price of 80 ... ... My backup guitar is an Epiphone Les Paul in a gorgeous vintage sunburst which is in immaculate condition, and I'm looking to trade it for something with a trem .. I'm thinking of an Ibanez S470 or SA or a Jackson Dinky. Please note that the Epiphone comes with a Gator hardcase, again in an "as new" condition.
