  1. only the DigiTech Tone Overdrive X-Series, left to go... it's boxed as new, with all the instructions. any offers
  2. excellent Colin, I may well be heading into ABZ this week to see Ross at R&B to 'try' and sell back my Ovation Breadwinner; which since I retreated back behind the kit has just been sat sitting... I'll give you a shout to arrange a meet, cheers Phil
  3. DigiTech Tone Overdrive X-Series, it's boxed as new, with all the instructions. any offers DigiTech Compressor/Sustainer X-Series, it's boxed as new, with all the instructions. any offers Line 6 (Tone Core) Echo Park Delay, reseved Line 6 Tone Core Space Chorus, reseved Ibanez PM7 Phase Modulator, Sold
  4. Tama 13"x3" Maple Piccolo Snare, nice tight crisp sound... open to offers
  5. Axis A-L2 Longboard Double Pedal, (one of the fastest pedals in the world); comes with the Axis Sonic Hammer beaters, all in great nick, plays like a dream, like there's no lag time or effort between you foots movement and the played note... see attached web site; http://www.axispercussion.com/longboards_A-L2.html I'm open to reasonable offers...
  6. Peace DNA 22" Bass Drum in need of a paint job (because it's Pink Sparkle) I swapped the rest of that kit for a smaller Ludwig, so there is also the Mahogany Ludwig 22" Bass Drum left over now that I've nicked the Toms off, both of these drums are up for grabs, if you know of anyone wanting to add a second Bass Drum for really not much in the way of money, that filthy Luker, wonga, splonge, folding paper, a twenty spot each kind of a deal, the rims alone would be fourty to buy new..
  7. Custom built Stave 13"x7.5" Wendge/Bubinga Snare, because even though it tunes really nice at different tensions and all that, (and of course you can play it really quietly and gentle) it's just too 'bloody load' in comparison with my Dark Energy cymbals and the way I like the rest of my kit tuned, so it has to find a Rock/Metal guy, who could use it as a high pitched 'Big Sounding' Side Snare... While planning and making this Snare I tried something slightly out of the ordinary, the actual shell diameter is not the prescribed 12 and 7/8", as a normal 13" Drum requires, I made this one slightly smaller so that the outer edge of the skins are free floating when in tension by the rims, (it's based on a 'Gong' drum I made years ago out of a cut down 20" Bass Drum, that I fitted a single 22" head to and mounted at the back of my massive double 24" Bass multi tom nonsense of a kit, when I didn't have to do my own Roadying), and the resulting Snare, along with the use of a thick shell of Wendge has created a 'Frankestien Monster' which is beyond my control... if you're interested in this one, p.m. me your email address and I'll take some pictures and maybe include an MP3 sound clip, or you could see and try it out next week down Musical Vision, open to offers... Phil
  8. 'Highwood' 13"x5" Steam-bent Walnut Snare, Black Chrome Rims and eight single point lugs, internal reinforcing rings means very little glue used in the construction, so it sounds great if it's tuned low and funky, or medium head tension, or really tight and high. It's the best Snare I've ever owned and played, but now that I've built my own Bubinga Stave Drums it's become surplus to requirement, it's in great condition, no dings of scratches, and it really should be getting played... new from Highwood it's around £400, open to any offers... Phil
  9. Pearl cable release Hi-Hat, Double Chain Drive, Drop-clutch, great to use with double Bass Drums, or as a right/left hand side second set of Trash Hats etc., it's as responsive as a straight Hi-Hat stand and plays just as quick with no lag time... any offers
  10. the Ibanez Phaser is now sold...

  12. oh I know that Droid, I'm just a long winded bar-steward son of a git... Doh, Phil
  13. I only used Jojo Mayer and his band Nerve as a communication tool to talk to Mr. A, because he's not into Drum n' Bass or Techno as neither am I, to find out if we had a common idea about a groove, I like and play experimental/fusion/funk/blues sort of a thing, often without a script or play list, Echo Dream was at a jam when JC was messing around with his bass effects pedal and it just kicked off for 9 minutes, the song O'mage was one night at a Progadelica jam, I had heard a recorded version of the song earlier that day, and just went for it trying feel the bands changes, but also starting to develop my own expression of their music. Phunky Thang and Breaze on the Sea, were actually second run throughs from an earlier jam with a couple of the best musicians I've ever played with, Last Broken Promise was from a failed 'Ocean Size' 'type' jam... And my answer to 'Droid' about having a 'Bad Ass' should have included the line especially after a heavy curry, maybe I should have said I've got a 'Bad Attitude' instead, see Shawn Pelton and the House of Deabilo... but if we never dared to dream and always kept our heads ducked down behind the parapets it would be a much sadder world. So in conclusion, I love music beyond everything else in this fucked up world, and not for one moment would I ever claim to be in the same league as the excellent Jojo Mayer, not even on the same bus, but I always want to be involved with the best sound I can find, (just ask any of the bands I've left because they were dragging their feet), and I put in a lot of time 'woodsheding' my rudiments and stick control, and dynamics based on the playing of the likes of; Mike Clark, Jack de Johnette, Joe Morello, Simon Phillips, Jojo Mayer, Benny Greb, Carter Beauford, Steve Smith, Johnny Rabb, Shawn Pelton, Stanton Moore, Zigabou, Bill Bruford, Will Calhoun, and on and on; in fact any inspirational musician that helps me to add my own two pence worth to the pot, as in Jimi, Miles, Herbie, Jeff Beck, Mingus etc...
  14. oh! and also I use a Korg Wave Drum, and tap in some loops on the fly to drum over, I've got a bit recorded but never bother loading it onto myspace... techno dunce... Mr. A, p.m. me your email address and I'll send it over if you want, I plan to record some drums this weekend, now I've built the snares and have the cymbal set-up just right...
  15. some old jams from 2010 on; http://www.myspace.com/phatphilsphunk/music/songs/echo-dream-67276614 bits from jams with various peoples, none of this stuff was planned, just playing around with the grooves... I only sat down behind my kit again on Tuesday, the first time in over a year, I've been working with my practice pads straight thru 2011... Phil

  19. Behringer Eurorack MX 802A Mixing Desk, 8 channels-phantom power, as new £50 Behringer B-2 Dual Diaphragm Studio Condenser Microphone, comes with cradle, case and lead, as new £100
  20. hi Paul, (oh! no it's him again), I don't suppose there's any point in me answering this advert, which is a real bummer because I so loved that one jam from last year and could really do with being totally involved in some music that I dig, rather than farting about with the half-assed crap that's been on offer recently. hey ho... with the hope of more laughs, Phil
  21. Hi Paul, I'll swap a bunch of my guitar pedals for the drum kit, the Line 6 Echo, Line 6 Chorus and a Digitech Compressor/Sustainer... Phil
  22. I've got a set of (right-hand/foot) Axis Longboards that I'm willing to sell for the right price, they are the most amazing, effortless pedals I've ever played, they would be fitted with the Axis Power Hammer beaters along with the Allen Keys and set-up instructions. They cost me over £500 including the import tax just over a year ago, so have a think about your offer and we can take it from there... cheers, Phil
  23. the kit has now found it's self a new home...
