  1. Me to although I am not thinking of gigging at the moment. . Adele
  2. Withdrawn changed mind I have decided I am not going to sell this amp and cab now. Adele
  3. I have the above for sale, its virtually brand new and never been gigged. Bought on a whim and don't really need it as I am not going to be gigging now. It comes with a couple of custom covers for the head and cab plus a single and twin footswitch for the amp. Here is a description from the Orange web site for the head. Thunderverb 50w Head Twin channel Class A/B amplifier. All valve, 50 watt RMS, channel switching head with foot switchable attenuator, valve FX loop and valve driven reverb. This amplifier sports two clean / crunch / lead channels which each have three stages of gain. Channel A has the same three band EQ as the lead channel used on the Rockerverb series. Channel B has a new shape control that scoops the mids and increases the bass and treble when turned up. This head also has a footswitchable attenuator for those really loud lead breaks. If you like the sound of the Thunderverb 200, but prefer the sound of a smaller cranked 50 watt power amp, then this is more for you. Link to company decription and listing I bought from Orange TV50H Thunderverb 50H Valve Guitar and Bass Head Amp Description for the PPC 212 OB cab 2x12" Speaker Cabinet, Combo Sized, Open Backed. This new compact-sized speaker cabinet features an open-back design and is the same size as the Rockerverb 50C and AD30TC. Link to company description I bought from Orange PPC212 2 x 12-Inch Guitar Speaker Cabinet This amp would be suitable for guitar or bass players. Total cost I paid for the head, cab, covers and footswitches 1647.87 Would accept 1400.00 or there abouts.
  4. Sam hope you find some others to jam with and form a band

Paid 419.00 Would take 375 ono. If interested either post here or PM me.
  6. I have just been told by the guy who was going to be the drummer in the band I am trying to form that he has been offered a place in a working blues band. So its back to the drawing board or should that be sounding board?? I am trying to get a band together and have a bass player and guitarist who are interested, so I am now looking for a drummer. Also looking for a vocalist for the same styles. The Genres I would like to try doing would be mainly Rock, Country Rock, Blues, some 60's instrumentals and anything else that maybe interesting. My influences Cream, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heap, The Shadows, Eagles, Black Sabbath, Lindisfarne, Fleetwood Mac, Thin Lizzy and Quo and loads of other bands. I have good gear and transport but the gear is gathering dust. I also have a wicked sense of humour. Should also say that I have been playing for 40 years off and on since I was 16 and my brother taught me to play Apache by the Shadows. Used to be in bands in the 70's but other things came along to distract me, like family. This project is right at the start up phase and I guess it would be a few months before we would be ready to gig. So sorry if anyone reading this is looking for a working band. Anyone is interested drop me a PM or e-mail or post here. Adele
  7. Not that I am in need of any set ups or repairs doing on any of my guitars at the moment. But can anyone recommend a good Luthier in the area for future reference? Last set up I had done was in Nashville on my new Gibson ES339 which I got over there earlier in the year and that was by a top class Luthier from Gruhns Guitars But I am not sending any of my guitars to Nashville for a set up. Unless of course I am there again in the future. Thanks Adele
  8. Hi You are not alone in being a bedroom guitarist looking to expand your horizons. I am in the process of forming a band have a bassist and drummer I think?? To play a mixture of genres including, Rock, Alt Country, 60's Pop and anything else that takes out fancy. Bands we like as a band are Staind, Eagles, Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, to name a few. Personally I like Cream, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heap, Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy, Staind, Eagles, Santana, Quo and loads of others. Don't laugh but also a big fan of the Shadows and play some of their music badly. We are also looking for another guitarist to share the load, and hopefully sing. Or maybe a vocalist as an additional member. We are right at the start up phase, and are planning our first practice to see if we can make music together on the 26th at Captain Toms. So if you are interested message me and we can chat about things, will also PM you. Adele
  9. Had one of two PMs/e-mails and thanks to Diesel and Sploot for contacting me. Anyone else who wants to get in touch can also leave a message here.
  10. I hope this is the right place to post this? Bit about me and my thoughts. I have played off and on for 40 years used to be good but.........then again maybe I am kidding myself. As much as I hate to say it I am getting older by the minute and really want to get back into playing in a band I have to much good gear gatheirng dust so I thought I would try to form my own. But its not that easy to find dedicated people who are enthusiastic. Personally I like bands such as Cream, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heap, Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy, Staind, Eagles, Santana and loads of others. Don't laugh but also a big fan of the Shadows and play some of their music badly visit My music To see what I mean I really need to get my playing up to a better standard and more up to-date. So if anyone would like to get together to jam initially, help me improve and maybe get into gigging please let me know, PM, or e-mail me. But please be nice I am delicate. LOL Adele
  11. Well you are not quite as old an old codger as me as I am 56 and a little rusty around the edges. But If you are prepared to help polish then we may get somewhere. Influences are Cream, Led Zep, oh and don't laugh The Shadows. Adele Sorry just read some of your other posts and I am probably too rusty.
