I always found The Smiths reputation as miserablists weird, their lyrics are pretty damn funny. Then again, some folk probably wouldn't listen to lyrics.

Only thing I can figure is that the pictures are chosen for the facial expression or whatever that the person creating the meme thinks fits the caption, rather than being applicable to the character. Zach Galifanakis (spelling error probably) seems a popular one.

OK, I back down, all worthwhile

The majority are just jumping on the latest FB bandwagon and in doing so actually trivialising what they proclaim to promote. Of course this is just my opinion and I'm as entitled to opinion that as anyone else is to make broad assumptions about folk by what they post on FB and displaying strangely inflated self-opinion.

What the fuck did I just watch?

Most things post-rock are spaff-worthy for me so I like these. I don't mind the spoken stuff but it seemed too loud to begin with, seemed to balance out later though. I hope to get along on the 22nd but it will be my 3rd weekend out in a row which is the craziest my life has been in some time so we will see.

Tonight - Had fajitas and watched 'Turbo' with the family unit minus wee yin. Great film. Currently listening to those Callahan demos. Good shit min. Tomorrow - Heading down to Edinburgh on train in morning. Spend afternoon buying lots of shit in FOPP nae doubt. Hopefully catch up with Eupraxia for a few ales before going to see Mogwai at Usher Hall. It better be mighty. Sunday - Travel back from Edinburgh.
