jap strat iv'e been playing my 1982 jap strat for over 10 years and would not part with it for anything.......it's amazing !...i've used usa strats old and new and they were no comparision ....the best ones are the older ones like mine which have "made in japan " at the base of the neck...it seems a bit expensive if the one you're looking at is 400...fair enough if it's new but if second hand 280/300 seems a fairer price...anyway good luck....cheers and beers, graham

ricky for sale hi, do you still have guitar ?........if so would you consider a trade....i've got a 1982 stratocaster in excellent condition....black body , scratchplate, and p.ups...maple neck..big headstock..very rare hardtail, beolonged to a r.n. sailor who bought in san francisco in '83....he kept it in cabin and now and then took it out of case , played a little, then put it back....if interested will send pics. cheers graham ( dundee )
