  1. I've replaced a few Jap Strat bridges with, Callaham systems, so I probably have one lying around If you want it?
  2. A few of these for sale, on Gumtree & E Bay.
  3. "Cover" bands, have been a staple form of weekend entertainment in Aberdeen since the early 60's. Most, if not, all decent sized pub / lounges, had a "Resident" band,(Like the "House" band in shows such as, Strictly come dancing, Etc), who played 2 - 3 nights per week & would usually rehearse on a Saturday morning, usually 4 or 5 new "Chart"songs, released that week, in the unopened Pub / Lounge / Nightclub, ready for the masses of punters who would fill the place that night. By the late 80'S, early 90's, these residencies, had virtually died out, due to advent of, Karaoke machines, Etc. Cover bands nowadays, do seem to choose a style of music each member likes, (Rock, Metal, Punk, Soul, Etc), & hawk themselves round the pub's which choose to stick on a band, after they finish serving food, or the, Fitba's finished. Thank god some pub's still book bands, playing any sort of "Covers", otherwise, social club's would be the only place they could play, unless of course, they can break into the, "Function" circuit, Weddings & corporate gig's, which are so lucrative, nowadays, cover bands from all over Scotland are coming to Aberdeen, due to the High Fee's available. None of this, affects the Original material band's , which play different venue's Of course, (Thank God they still exist also).
  4. "Bump", on this bargain guitar, would swap for a Gibson SG Custom, in similar condition?
  5. Cleared it out, try again, Cheers.
  6. L.o.l.,That's all the New ones are worth, believe me. So, can we meet to do the deal on your Muff? P.M. me & I'll send my number. Cheers,
  7. Ibanez Tonelock Chorus / Flanger. Keeley Modded Rat. Arion Stereo Phaser. MXR Distortion:III. Zoom Hyperdrive Distortion. Pete Cornish:NG-2 Obviously, some of these, would not be offered as straight swaps.
  8. "Diesel", How much for your L.B. Muff with Tone wicker? "Thornybank", how much for either of your pedals? Or, any swaps considered, as I have a few descent pedals lying around?
  9. Thanks for replies, "Thornybank", is your Little Big Muff, the current model, or an old one?
  10. Anybody got any Electro Harmonix Muff's,(Especially the one with, tone & wicker switch)? Or any other E.H. pedals not being used? Cheers.
  11. That's kind of, what I expected. I'm not yet convinced, on L.E.D. PAR cans. Cheers, anyway, Mr M.
  12. Define, "Upgrade" for me? Does that mean, these one's your selling, are crap?
  13. Hi Andy, why you selling these?
  14. Rule of thumb, The cheaper the speaker, the worse the speaker. With respect to the, "Fender" speakers, they are normally, Inexpensive, compaired to a descent replacment, by another manufacturer. Celestion Vintage 10'S, or, Eminence, Ramrod, Delta Demon's, are great replacments & are more efficient,(Higher sensitivity), so apart from improving tone, you get more volume, than the Fender speakers, which will probably have a low sensitivity. Do a bit of research, & spend as much as you can, as it's worth it, especially, if you eventually replace all 4, X 10" Fender speakers.
  15. Sorry, I just noticed your reply,,, Damn. Thanks for replying tho. Any other time your going, I'd appreciate a shout.
  16. hi, have you sold your Beverly kit? How much? What finish?
  17. Anyone planning a trip, to the, "Esteemed", Dennis Marshall, in Dunfermline, any time soon? I need something looked, by him, but I'm struggling to fit in a time which suits both him & me. Any replies, appreciated.
  18. Industry standard has now became, the Boss FV500H. Very robust, smooth, good range, & Very little, if any colouration on tone. I used Ernie Ball volume's for years, but, after wearing out 3, each new one I bought, seemed to alter the tone a bit, so I experimented, & settled on the Boss. If your amp has one, try placing the volume pedal in the FX Loop, (It seems to give more control, as it's after all gain stages, amp, or pedals, but place it before all time based FX) ie: Flange, chorus, phase reverb, delay. Good luck,
