Exact same thing happened to me and my 2 mates- we got there about 11.35, joined the queue only to get totally shafted. HOWEVER persistence (or desperation) is the key- there were 6 reserved copies that weren't claimed. We got told that if no-one had come for them by 1am they were ours. 5 quid worth of sandwiches, cookies and fizzy pop and an hour of sitting around later we were smugly walking out with a copy each. I very much doubt it now, but there were 3 unclaimed copies that just went straight back into the warehouse, if anyone's still trying to source.

I have two friends who were thrown out of As I Lay Dying. One was moshing. The other tried to walk to the toilets and got told "you've been pushing your luck all night". Except he had arrived about 30 seconds prior to this. Last night was the first time I've been sober enough in Moshulu to notice the floors- I was disgusted. Other than that, and the pricey drinks, I had a really good time there.

Is there anywhere in Scotland stocking these? I'd be really keen to give them a whirl- the prices are pretty bloody good.

I've got a core 2 duo laptop I'm needing rid of, but maybe not cheap enough- looking for 300-ish.

Ignoring the (significant) fact that it was blatantly plagiarised it was an enjoyable read. The clumsy tense shifts were presumably the result of a half-arsed proof-read at 3am, but the teacher comments do seem to be a bit harsh (as long as he/she didn't realise it was nicked off some website).
