  1. A few of us are looking for a bassist, just to have a jam with and see what gels. Nothing set in stone in terms of style and no grand aspirations. Just some fun jamming for now. Something loud and heavy, and seeing if anything comes together. We've got two guitars and drums sorted for now. You fancy it?
  2. Bassists. Anyone? Everyone plays bass. Come jam with us!
  3. Proper bo! Now we just need a bassist! Preferably someone who likes Fugazi.
  4. I was considering this completely seperate from your band, unless you fancy getting involved in some righteous jamming, just for fun? No commitments, just loud guitars and loads of noise.
  5. I play guitar and do a bit of raspy vocals, and I'm looking for the usual suspects (drummers, bassists and another guitarist if you like?) for just some fun, relaxed jamming at a practice room sometime. Really nothing serious yet. Just a jam to see what sticks. Something quite heavy and guitar driven, but still melodic and accessible. NO real boundaries though. I just want to turn up to 11 and rock hard, put some ideas together and have a bit of a shred. Influences range from gruff punk rock from the likes of Hot Water Music and None More Black, to more tuneful side of heavy metal like 90's Metallica, Thin Lizzy, The Fucking Champs etc and everything in between. I'm open to jamming any kind of hard rock though. Get in touch if you're interested. I just moved up here, and I'm craving to crank my amp and play loud again. Mega!
  6. This all sounds complicated. How about I just rap for you instead?
  7. A Matamp cab will make a Mesa/Boogie cab sweat. Orange cabs are also equally as good as a Mesa cab, but I'd go for a Matamp cab if I had the coin. They make it from scratch to your specifications. Easily the best cab I've ever put my amp through. I just wish I had one. God, I love amps.
  8. I've been talking to your drummer, and he seems pretty interested
  9. The Sword. A little doomy, but fuzzy with groove a mile wide. I don't know if Crowbar count, but they are slow, sludgey and heavy. Floor are also fucking great. Messy and heavy.
  10. yikes! line 6 are bad. mode fours get alot of stick because the power amp part of it is solid state, but they do crunch really well as they have pre-amp tubes in there. they are pretty good amps. for 250, you definitely can't complain!
  11. They are womens, so, do they just like... scissor, or something?
  12. I dunno. if I was a cartoon, I would plow Betty, but Wilma is a fuggo.
  13. Would you sell the cab seperately?
  14. The Flintstones theme tune, the part about having a "Gay old time". That's what you get when you "Meet The Flintstones". I knew Fred was corn-holing Barney! I KNEW IT!
  15. We can't complain. We get Jerry Only, Dez and one of the Ramones playing Misfits and Black Flag songs under the name Misfits. Be reasonable. It was only 18 a ticket.
  16. Rugby League is a thousand times better. I hate Union more than any sport on earth. It's such a slow, dull game.
  17. Please Inform The Captain This Is A Hijack - The Asymmetric Enemy Die Hoffnung - Orpheus In His Underwear Descendents - Weinerschitzel The Get Up Kids - I'm A Loner Dottie. A Rebel. Nathaniel Green - Yorkshire Heights
  18. Doesn't he play through a JMP plexi too though? Second rate distortion pedals sound pretty good through Plexi's. The vintage twang seems to get rid of the muddy, fizzy sludge Metalzones seem to have. I've seen them 4 times and they get better everytime. So, yes. Where is this Ivory Blacks place?
  19. Boss Ps5's are mint. I love the harmonist function. Hours and hours of cheese metal fun.
  20. That's some awesome stuff right there. Iron Lung are almost too good.
  21. ALL - On Foot Twofold - Sinking Feeling Baroness - Isak Unsane - No Loss Black Flag - Fix Me Pretty rocking too.
  22. A better Coliseum? That must be good. Coliseum are one of the best crusty hardcore bands at the minute. No Salvation is a cracking record. I will listen to this later.
  23. There was a song which was a parody of "Going Underground"by the Jam, with just one guy and a piano singing about how shit the tube is. I think there was an animated video for it on some websites. The chorus was "London Underground, London Underground, They're all lazy fucking useless cunts" etc. Good song.
